Allied College

Allied College is a career oriented school with a vision to provide practical quality education designed for today’s demanding yet rewarding and long-term career options. Its philosophy and objective are anchored on responding to the actual manpower requirements of industries rather than on a subjective definition of academic education.

The college monitors and evaluates the requirements of industries based on real life situations and actual training needs as defined by employers and human resource managers. It empirically designs and develops its academic programs, keeping them attuned to the qualifications required by employers from various industries, including health care, technology, visual arts, business, and criminal justice.

Allied College is part of the Anthem Education Group that grew out of the former High-Tech Institute of Phoenix founded in 1982. It is a sister school to 24 other schools and colleges with campuses in 14 states across the United States.

Career-oriented Degree Program

Allied College offers a wide array of studies leading to a degree or certification that equips its graduates for lucrative careers, like dental assistant, medical assistant, medical billing and coding, pharmacy technician, surgical technologist, law enforcement, criminal justice specialist, and court clerk.

These choice career options were selected after an assessment of empirical data gathered through studies and interviews with employers and career specialists. Allied College employs a dedicated team of experienced faculty members and staff to teach students and guide them in their choice of career paths through hands-on, apprenticeship-based training program in uncrowded classrooms. Career laboratories are equipped with the latest computer sets and technology to keep students abreast with today’s perpetually advancing learning instruments and tools.

Student-Friendly

The college works around a student’s busy schedule, rather than a rigorous inflexible standard. Classes are held day and night to accommodate the schedules of students on the premise that classroom schedules should revolve around the learners and not the learning institution.

Students at Allied College can take advantage of a variety of valuable services, including tutoring services and job placement.

Tutoring Services include the following:

  • One-on-one review
  • Group review
  • Extended laboratory time
  • Refresher courses for certification and licensee exams

Tutoring services are designed to ensure that all students have the opportunity to make the most of their educational experience. This a high priority agenda in the hierarchy of services provided by the college to its students.

Another primary service is to help students secure jobs even while in school. The college’s Student Services Unit works closely with local employers to help students find part-time work and monitors their progress as apprentice as part of the school agenda. This is on top the job placement program that the college undertakes for its graduates, which includes training for job-searching, cover letter and resume writing, and handling interviews.

With skills needed for work constantly evolving with the introduction of new technologies for office environment, enactment of new laws for law enforcers, and discovery of new procedures in the medical field, Allied College makes a proactive response by continually offering skills updating and educational refreshers for its graduates.

This is Allied College’s timeless commitment to its students, to industries and to society.
